My hair always looks semi decent in pictures, and luckily when im taking snaps of me in my car the density looks amazing, especially with the flash on for some reason. But then if i walk into one of my bathrooms THATS A WHOLE OTHER STORYYY, that or even opening my sun roof destroys my confidence.

YES, BALDING HAS MADE MY SUNROOF OPTION IN MY CAR USELESS!!

Mines the opposite. I don't have thinning though but it looks more receded in pictures then I'll go in the bathroom and check and it looks way less receded. I think the pictures distort the image, that's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Because you always fix your hair in the mirror whereas in pictures people always take it at a angle that doesn't really suit you, and because its mirrored it will look good in the mirror but irl its different.

No I'm talking about like pulling my hairline back and taking a selfie vs pulling my hair back in the mirror

I look worse entirely on pic than in the mirror...

Avoiding photos will all cost, cringe

I think the pics distort the image, that and shadow, light etc all affect it but mirror is more realistic. That's my opinion, might be bias though

They are mirrored also.

I've always looked better in the mirror too. I've took two mirrors to inspect my crown outside and you wouldn't even tell it's thin, with a picture it's a different story. Mirror is a better representation of how others see you I believe.

Mirrors are cope, eventually you will think that version of yourself is the best.

best way to gauge how you look like is to set your video camera outside under natural light and talk to it. Walk around like an autist and see what you look like from different angles. Make sure you don't have fish lense, and distorted zoom to compliment your lack of FWHR. All those small details such as what your mouth looks like when you talk and how your eyes focus on someone are a big part in the over all package.

A fixed representation of yourself in a mirror is not accurate as we always look for the best angles.

Mirrors ruin my perception because they are not accurate at all.

We need more input on this.

Photo and videos are the most accurate representation of yourself.

Mirrors are bullshit.

Avoid mirrors at all costs.

End the cope

Think double sided mirror is the most accurate representation of what others see. Cameras take shadows etc and distort images.

Only person who sees a mirror image of you is, you! Everyone else sees your non -mirror form.

We develop a relation with the mirror, and tend to get used to the mirror version in either good or bad ways.

Mirror is more distorted then camera.

Taking a video is the most accurate representation of how others see you. Talk , smile and focus on different angles. This is how other people see you

Every mirror will hold different values. I hate my bathroom mirror but feel handsome in new mirrors. Our minds trick us......

That's why i said double sided mirrors. Or you can hold one of those handheld mirrors against a bigger mirror. It reverses the mirror image and give you your normal image that everyone sees.

I think I read somewhere that our brains react differently to looking in mirrors than to looking in pictures. Basically our brains convince themselves that we look more attractive in mirrors. Redpill time: Pictures are what everyone else sees when they look at you. Rear view car mirrors are the worst. When I look in them I see tan NW2, in reality I am pasty white diffuse NW3.5.
