Anyone Managed To Reverse Their Retrograde Alopecia?

So I just realized I have retrograde alopecia along with diffuse thinning on top. Really swell, amirite guys? I've been on finasteride for 3 months now and from past pictures I can definitely see that I had it before stating finasteride, but I just got a shorter haircut since starting finasteride and the side thinning is pretty noticeable. Is retrograde alopecia even due to DHT-sensitive follicles? There's not a whole lot of information about it when I search online...

It probably is DHT related as the hairs are miniaturised.. i think mine is reversing with oral minoxidil but its still too early to make a definite conclusion.

I'd rather avoid using min. I really don't like the idea of integrating it onto my daily routine as I almost have no time in the morning.
I'll keep on using finasteride for a year and if I don't see improvement I'll probably go the min route...

Thats what i did, went with finasteride first ( it didnt work ) now im on minoxidil and slowly weening off finasteride
