I have been losing my hair for about a year now. Every time I wash it there is massive amounts of hair in the drain as well as if I run my finger through it. My scalp itches very frequently but there is no infection or growth of any kind. I have had a biopsy and the Dr. said it was alot like frontal fibrosing alopecia BUT..................... It's all over my head, not just in front. My eyebrows have not been affected. It does itch. I'm not post menopausal. Hair loss does not run in my family. The dr's say it's very rare. I'm not convinced they know what's going on with me at all. Is there anyone who has the itching but no infection and massive hairloss all over? Please let me know. PZ :
