I am from the UK. I've checked out a lot of UK pharmacies and I find OxfordPharmacy the cheapest, easiest to use and they give free prescriptions so its a win - winThanks man, I'll check them out! You in the U.K.?
Anyone else have any other sources just in case?

I don't use avodart, I use finasteride, oral minoxidil and Androcur. You should get the prescription no problem!you on avodart on generic? iv just filled in consultation there for avodart
did you go through periods of shed on duta?I get mine from AllDayChemist. I've been using them for four years and it has stopped my hair loss dead in its tracks. If you'd prefer to get it by prescription from a UK source, OxfordPharmacy are a good option as another poster said, and so are PharmacyDirect who are also very affordable.
Not that I noticed. Do you use dutasteride yourself?did you go through periods of shed on duta?
dutasteride is basically a stronger version of finasteride. It can be expected that side-effects will be more severe from dutasteride than from finasteride. What's your level of hair loss, and are you already using finasteride? Unless your hair loss is severe, I think it is better to start with finasteride and see if it works for you, and then change to dutasteride later if the finasteride isn't powerful enough for you.Okay guys, that's great! Thanks for the advice! I'll check it out!
Are there added risks with duta or isn't it just kind of the same deal? It's not licensed over here and I've been warned not to take it... not that I'm saying I'm going to listen to that advice, but you know...
And I was gonna ask about shedding on duta too, what were your experiences?
And lastly, do any of you know of any decent clinincs within the UK to get a good hair transplant done? I've heard going abroad is the best way, but it makes me nervous. I'd feel better having it done at home for some reason.
Thanks again.

I don't know much about hair transplant clinics but I've heard the best ones are abroad in places like Turkey. It will be much more expensive in the UK too. There's a transplant doctor in Turkey called Dr. Erdogan who is mentioned a lot on these forums, who many guys on these forums have used and had success.
So I’ll tell you my experience on Dutasteride.Okay guys, that's great! Thanks for the advice! I'll check it out!

i tried to take Dutasteride 3 x a week starting this Saturday but the side effects got to me and I’m scared to keep going. Keep me posted. Have you heard of the side effects wearing off even continuing ?Just started yesterday. going to take it 3x per week alongside finasteride on days off. Im taking genuine avodart
what side effects? Didn't think it would kick in that quickSo I’ll tell you my experience on Dutasteride.
Took finasteride and minoxidil for years with no side effects what’s so ever. If anything when I took Finasteride my libido got higher.
Decided that just holding on to what I had wasn’t enough and that I wanted to see actual regrow this and thickness. Decided to order Dutasteride and took my first pill this past Saturday. Same

Exactly, I didn’t either. That’s why I got so scared. By side effects as in first pill my erection was a little off and when I had sex that same day or next day the nut was alittle weaker than usual but I thought it was all in my head. Took the second pill and my body felt alittle weird. I had weaker erections. Took the third pill and was for sure that this was not just in my mind. My dick would not get hard and I would wake up with no morning wood. I just had a numb feeling to it. I was able to have sex by my girlfriend had to basically touch all over me a lot to get me started and even then the nut wasn’t like it usually is. The best way I can explain it is iwas even though I have sex raw it was as if I was having sex with a thick condom on. Even when I would take a piss it was really off. I am not trying to scare you. I am kind of disappointed because I didn’t think I would be that person with side effects. I got off of it this past Wednesday and things seem to be getting better. The pharmacist said the sides should leave quickly since i didn’t take much pills. I was really scared the whole time because of course we have all heard of the side effects possibly being irreversible. I am looking around and talking to different people to see should I jump back on it and maybe take one pill a week and see from there. I’m not surewhat side effects? Didn't think it would kick in that quick
It has reduced my libido a bit and has made my erections slightly softer. These sexual sides are fairly mild in my case, but they are definitely there.Hey did you get any sides while on duta?
Interesting. Well please continue to update on your journey. My main interest is finding out with continued use will the sides reduce and eventually go away and of course if you get any regrowth. I am taking a break from duta now- I guess your journey will decide if I get back on or not hahaIt has reduced my libido a bit and has made my erections slightly softer.
