I'm pretty new to this but I've been losing my hair for a couple of years now. I've gone to all the doctors (endocrinologist, dermatologist, internist, ob gyn,etc) and I've had all the tests done. They tell me it is Androgenetic Alopecia and was put on Rogaine and aldactone. I've stopped taking the aldactone but I am now using Rogaine and Nizoral.
Anyway, I live about 5 miles from the Mexico border and while I was visiting Mexico today I looked in a pharmacy and saw a poster for Avixis. I looked it up on the internet and it seems to not be available in the US but has been available in Brazil, some European countries and now Mexico. I believe it is 'alfaestradiol' and it is topical. It can also be used along with Rogaine. I'm trying to find out as much as I can about it but I don't know if anyone might have any information on this..successes if any? Thanks.
