Anyone have success with Rogaine 5% once a day?

After just one application of Rogaine 5% for the first time today, I already hate the feeling of the hair (its dry, stuck together and lies flat at the thinning crown area).

I am now thinking of just using it at night a few hours before going to bed since I don't want to go to work like this in the mornings.

Anyone have success using it just once a day?

That's the route I'm going. I hate putting it on before I leave for work in the morning. So I just rinse my scalp when I get home in the evening and put it on. This doesn't answer your question.

1 application = maintenance

This is a common rule most go by, although people do have success with a 1x/day treatment.

Personally I put it on Morning & Night. Some people have been using Dr. Lee's Standard Minoxidil 5% in the morning for it's drying properties.

Also, it is not recommended to apply Minoxidil to a wet scalp.

because of increased risk of side effects due to systemic absorbtion, i.e. rashes, heart flutters, etc. Also you'll likely find hair thickening up in other places too, and not just where applied.

Once a day Rogaine stopped my shedding almost right away, and has been highly effective for the first month and a half.

I am dreading the day it stops working already!
