Edit Thanks, I bought The Big 5 shampoo, I'll see how it goes when it arrives next week.
Currently looking for something new to add to my regime to help combat DHT without the need for almost 24/7 application. I was combing through a lot of the success stories on the Tressless subreddit and I found a few of the people with dramatic results were using something I hadn't even heard about before which was Lipogaine, all of them were using finasteride alongside this. Lipogaine also used to have its own Minoxidil with added ingredients but no longer does and instead replaced it with a formula with its main ingredient being Biotinyl-tripeptide.
Their first shampoo is The Big 3 (their marketing pls) which interestingly contains ketoconazole, I'm already using Nizoral but this ends up cheaper being $50 for 236ML vs $30 for 100ML for Nizoral. With the added benefit of a few extra things. I was recently considering buying copper peptides to use alongside derma rolling but it was too expensive for what it was. I find it interesting this contains copper tripeptides at an affordable price, I'm not entirely sure if they are the same.
The second is The Big 5 which sadly doesn't have the peptides or the ketoconazole but it has a whole load more of ingredients with positive effects for hair growth. I've been reading pages and pages of Amazon reviews or this product and they have been overwhelmingly positive, I've barely seen any negative reviews at all and some even show off their regrowth in the review. From the reviews it almost sounds like some of the ingredients bind to the hair making the individual follicle thicker.
I was unable to find the Big 3 on Amazon which made finding the better of the two hard, which leads me to my question of which one I should get. Both have numerous ingredients that I recognize from studies that found positive effects on hair growth and reduction in scalp DHT. I'm wondering which one seems most likely to achieve some form of regrowth also considering derma rolling is being done?
