Edit Thanks, I bought The Big 5 shampoo, I'll see how it goes when it arrives next week.
Currently looking for something new to add to my regime to help combat DHT without the need for almost 24/7 application. I was combing through a lot of the success stories on the Tressless subreddit and I found a few of the people with dramatic results were using something I hadn't even heard about before which was Lipogaine, all of them were using finasteride alongside this. Lipogaine also used to have its own Minoxidil with added ingredients but no longer does and instead replaced it with a formula with its main ingredient being Biotinyl-tripeptide.

Their first shampoo is The Big 3 (their marketing pls) which interestingly contains ketoconazole, I'm already using Nizoral but this ends up cheaper being $50 for 236ML vs $30 for 100ML for Nizoral. With the added benefit of a few extra things. I was recently considering buying copper peptides to use alongside derma rolling but it was too expensive for what it was. I find it interesting this contains copper tripeptides at an affordable price, I'm not entirely sure if they are the same.

The second is The Big 5 which sadly doesn't have the peptides or the ketoconazole but it has a whole load more of ingredients with positive effects for hair growth. I've been reading pages and pages of Amazon reviews or this product and they have been overwhelmingly positive, I've barely seen any negative reviews at all and some even show off their regrowth in the review. From the reviews it almost sounds like some of the ingredients bind to the hair making the individual follicle thicker.

I was unable to find the Big 3 on Amazon which made finding the better of the two hard, which leads me to my question of which one I should get. Both have numerous ingredients that I recognize from studies that found positive effects on hair growth and reduction in scalp DHT. I'm wondering which one seems most likely to achieve some form of regrowth also considering derma rolling is being done?

Lipogaine does still have Minoxidil in it alongside the Biotinyl.

The Big 5 shampoo is good...I have no idea if it helps. I like caffeine containing shampoos and I usually add a little Nizoral shampoo to it.

I alternate between The Big 5 shampoo and Regnepure DR. I don't recommend using ketoconzale based shampoo every day. Also mix in Dr Proctor's NANO shampoo. I think it helps support other treatments and keeps the hair looking healthy.

Had no idea people used this stuff with success, I'll probably order The Big 5 tonight.

did you ever start using the shampoo? If so how's it working?
Yeah it appears to be good, probably the best shampoo I've used and it makes my hair look nice and full without drying it out. It costs $50 AUD for a small bottle though so I'm not sure if I will continue to use it or not, I've been trying to make it last.

I have used lipogaine shampoo for over 2 years. Definitely part of my regime now....sometimes its hard to work up a lather but if you do 2 washes with it the second wash lathers up nicely.

I have been through many shampoos - and 'my' verdict is Nizoral is not that great. For the 1% of Ketoconazole in there , there s a whole bunch of other nasties including that blue dye no 3 or whatever it is.
Lipogaine has minimal sketch ingredients and a bunch of good stuff. The copper peptides, castor oil, emu oil, Ketoconazole etc all stuff thats known to help.

I have tried selenium sulfide and zinc pyrithione shampoos over the years but to be honest the only shampoos that helped me where the lipogaine and Revivogen Shampoo. My 3 cents!

1mg?? Any sides? I feel like only a small amount of people only get them? I'm so on the fence about starting to take it
1.25mg and no real sides aside from an increased sex drive and shedding, apart from that I feel exactly the same.
