Anyone have experience with home made topical Finasteride? I am a good responder to taking Finasteride orally, but lately it has been giving me sides that I no longer can endure. Even micro dosing it to less than 0.15 mg and taking it every third day is effective on me but still gives me terrible sides.
I have tried Minoxidill in the past but quit because it gave me rashes and heart palpitations, so I don't want to take that anymore.
I am curious if anyone has had any success I applying Finasteride topically. I am considering experimenting with crushing a Proscar pill and mixing it with Vodka and possibly some distilled water and applying that to my scalp daily before going to bed.
Has anyone tried this already, if so is this method effective and does it reduce sides?
