When I buzzed my balding head to grade 0.5 and stood under lights my head felt like it was on fire (I'm tall), likewise in the sun. It's not nice in the cold either.
We are supposed to have hair to protect our head. Even stubble on a non balding buzzed head gives you protection.
I don't understand the evolutionary reason for this defect.
Anyone else hate this aspect of balding?
