anyone had success with topical finasteride?

hey all,

Ive been on 0.5 - 1 mg finasteride for around 6 months now but am getting kinda worried about sides(havn't really experienced any consistent sides.......yet) and was considering dissolving some in min to make it around 0.1 - 0.2%
if anyone has had any experience with this or just has any comments please reply.

I read that you mix 60ml vodka with 10mg finasteride and take 1ml.. but how do you mix the vodka and finasteride?!?!?!?

i believe you crush it up to a fine powder and then add it the minoxidil or alcohol or whatever and let it dissolve...i could be wrong tho.

just a quick update.. successfully mixed 5mg into 30ml of min..

crushed the tab into fine powder and added to the min and let it dissolve for a 10minutes before shaking it..

The results of clinical trials with topical finasteride have been very mixed, if not outright negative (Messenger et al would be an obvious example). Don't get your hopes up too high that you'll get anything out of it.

hey bryan, im not getting my hopes up but i just want to give finasteride one more chance but cant get my head around taking the finasteride orally again.. i will give this treatment around 4-6 months to see results.. if nothing, then i will look into alternative treatments.
