I had very full head of hair last summer. Almost too much of it. I broke up with my girl of 7 years and then bam I started loosing 300 - 400 hairs per day. I though I had Telogen Effluvium but it never stopped. I went to the Derm and she said probably Telogen Effluvium. A couple months later went to another derm he said seb derm was causing the rapid shedding and gave me shampoo and steroids. Couple months later still shedding like crazy and my hair is almost gone. I can now see my scalp when I shower on the whole top of my head. I started propecia last month and am hoping the shedding will stop. Has anyone else gone through this with male pattern baldness I though it was gradual and miniturization this is crazy. 10 months and no end in sight I feel like I will be bald in 6 months so dont think propecia will have a chance to help. I thought theremay be alot of guys here who can give me input on how their male pattern baldness started. Does it come in waves like the Doctor said? I feel like I could handle it better if it came gradually.
