I've been using dutasteride 0.5mg ED for two years and stopped using minoxidil 5% 5 months ago after taking it for several years, because I always felt topical minoxidil did nothing to my hair.
My status remained stable 2 months after I stopped using minoxidil, but from the third month a huge shedding started that I had never had before.
I'm still taking dutasteride 0.5mg ED, but have now also added oral minoxidil 10mg (5mg twice a day).
The shedding hasn't stopped yet and I wonder if I should start the topical minoxidil again.
Has anyone else experienced the same?
Does the hair grow back again?
