Anyone conquer the receding hairline???

Hey guys,

I'm new here and am thankful to have a place like this to exchange ideas. I'm on 1mg of finasteride daily and am having no problems on the crown. Only my hairline is receding.

Have any of you guys been able to stop hairloss on your hairline??? I've started using rogaine foam on the hairline even though it says it's not intended for that area, but i'm desperate. it's only been a few weeks so I'm not expecting results yet, though I've used the stuff in the past but had to stop due to being low on cash at the time.

I've heard people mention Nizoral and was thinking of trying that.

Has anyone had any luck with stopping their hailine from receding???

Thanks.

The big 3 absolutely works on the hairline in my experience. But after months of use, the thing that really made a difference was doing scalp exercises, which I thought was kind of ridiculous. Just flexing the scalp muscles from the back of your head to the front your forehead until you feel a burn like you do when you lift weights—and then keep doing it. Do that as often as you can. From what I've researched, it increases circulation in a different way than how minoxidil does. I'm getting sprouts everywhere, and I've only been doing it for a month now. Read SE-Freaks' thread.

I also take Vitamin A and I do water-fasting (where you don't eat at all) which lowers my blood pressure. I've only been doing 3 day water fasts, but I want to do an extended one soon. Not only do you lower your hypertension, your body begins to extract toxins and heal your organs.

I'm sure I've been experiencing reasonable hairline regrowth. I mainly use Nizoral and also something to stimulate the follicles (not necessarily minoxidil, just whatever is near really and stimulates hair growth, preferably with vitamins and good absorption). Once you've removed the inflammation and androgens, the follicles should at least partly recover as long as they haven't been suppressed for too long.

I'm more interested in hearing from the people that saw benefit at the hairline using the Big 3 that are over the age of 35. People under the age of 35 battling hair loss can pour anything from plant fertilizer to good intentions on their head and see results. I'm far more intrigued to hear what works for the over 35 crowd where the receding hairline seems inevitable in male pattern baldness.

I hope you're right. I'm 30 now and I've been on finasteride for 4 years and still receding, slowly but surely. I just got on the other TWO (min and nizoral) of the Big3 w/in the past month so I hope my hairline will stay put. Please, God......
