Anyone been on Minoxidill for more than 5 years?

Anyone been on Minoxidill for more than 5 years? CAre to share the results?

I have been on it for 6 years and it doesnt seems to have any improvement lately. In fact, it seems to be getting worse.

I have been on it for 6 years. Minoxidill 5%,liquid type. Spray twice a day, about 6 sprays each time. Hair seems to stay as it is. NO further hairloss and no further regrow. However, lately, it seems to me that the effects of minoxidill is weakening and hairloss seems to accelerate slightly. Not sure if it is due to psychological reasons but bald patch seems to widen.

propecia makes minoxidil results last longer, i feel minoxidil might regrow your hair first year then maintain for bout a year or 2 then start to drop, on propecia the affects last longer.

Been on minoxidil 7 years and finasteride 10. Gradually losing the battle but surely these two treatments helped slow things down.

I researched about propecia too. Was thinking of that but been to many forums and read articles about the various serious side effects it has. Did u faced any of those mentioned side effects JWM?

Also, i thought for both monoxidill and propecia, their effects will stay as long as you continue using/consuming it? Especially for propecia. WHy did u say that it is losing the battle?
