So I did some research into cosmetic head tattooing and of course was let down. What was I thinking. Permanent, risk of infection, damage to follicles, unlicensed artists, uninsured, looks unnatural, etc, etc. The only case that a doctor said looked natural was a temporary tattoo job that the guy had to have reapplied every other day-ouch. Yet another disapointment for us nw5+'s. I'm just going to have to work like a dog and save up for my first megga session with H&M, then repeat until I run out of donor and then rely on topic to do the rest until hm comes out. Still then, there is no winning here. I can't tell you how hopeless I feel right now.

I think I read somewhere that you starting balding at 24? I started at 16 and im 19 now, its getting gradually worse but it is going really slow. How quickly did you go from a NW1 to an NW5? And did you try meds or anything?

you can start to go bald whenever. one individual i know was a nw5 at 18. others don't lose a hair till 50. the only thing you can say for certain is that if it is going to start it will start after puberty (ruling out things like hormone therapy etc)

Yeah I get that it can happen at any age. My point was that it seemed like it went really quick for uman. Does it start out slow with a receding hairline then speed up or go at the same pace?

Uman seems to have been hit rough with male pattern baldness,
Do you have a "your story" link btw?
How long did it take for you to go from NW1 to NW4? (NW4 is really the lowest that can be considered "bald")

I don't actually know anyone who has taken their baldness as if it were "nothing".
I knew a fat guy who hit NW4.5 at around 22, and he always seemed fine with it, would go out to clubs etc and hit on girls. Found out later he's on a tricyclic antidepressant. Oh, yeah, he had all the good moves, good job etc, and was rarely successful with women. Goes to show.

You ever considered a piece UM? I think myself I'd rather remain a NW4 than wear just now, especially after reading the piece forum - like 80%+ of people there say that their piece has been discovered at some point.

I don't think HM is going to be a miracle cure either. Just hair transplant with unlimited donor. I don't think it would give me the ability to grow my hair long, thick and shiney.

um should just wear a wig for a week. What's the worst that can happen, seriously.
I'd get too used to it, then become addicted to using it like a crutch (similar with my hats), then get discovered and shamed into trashing the piece...only to be left off feeling even worse about my natural look. Everything is a big expensive catch 22 in this game. In all honesty Barca, I have a few things I need to get in order before I find steady work in which I can save up for hair transplants. In the meantime I will just work on my physiqe and keep my head buzzed on 0 and tanned. As long as I am pro-active I think think that will hopefully be enough to counter whatever negative feeling I tend to feel toward myself. Either way it is better than complaining and doing nothing about it.

From all I've seen and heard the younger you start balding the more agressive it is.
I've always been a NW2 but I noticed it was geting thinner at 19 by 23 I was a NW3 and it took another 5/6 years to progress to NW6. So it does take some time for it all to go, but it gets noticible pretty quickly.

Lmao, cgi hair transplant. Vin's the type of dude who doesn't need hair, and I tip my cap to those who can pull his look off. BTW, anyone notice the new Statham movie? They have the entire top of his head cropped out of every scene. :thumbdown2:
