What grabbed my attention more than the movie itself was vin diesel's hair. I remember watching the first fast & furious and noticing diesel's diffuse thinning on top, inflammation, and receding hairline even though he was freshly shaven.

Now it looks like his thin areas have filled in and has no inflammation. Its still razored down, but you can see the dark follice. I wonder whats going on?

How do you see inflammation?

You can't see red on his type of skin colour?

I saw Vin Diesel interviewed on British tv recently, he's shiny bald on top, so Hollywood must go back and digitally add the stubble look on his head.

He's as bald as you can get. They add stubble cosmetically or digitally. You can see the same thing in that Babylon movie he was in.

yeah, he was practically NW1.5 - NW2 in the film - shaved head but you could easily see the stubble.
Post-processing?

Yeah, the Jonothan Ross show? You could see his horseshoe even though he had bic'd it down to the skin.
In his early movies he was just diffuse and had a decent enough hairline to make it look like he was shaving it by choice, but these days he's the full smooth ontop NW6.
I've seen movie posters where he looks to have stubble like at least NW2. But thats easily photoshopped I'd guess they use some kind of makeup for filming.

I remember him once saying he is ok with going bald.
What else would he say in his situation?
That he'd gladly pay $1m for his hair back, that he's used every treatment available, that he's considered wearing a piece? I would'nt be suprised.

CG stubble? Probably make up, but it looks hella convincing. I would totally use whatever that is to bring back a stubble hairline, not to mention the rest of the top of my head. I wonder how realistic it looks in person?

Considering he gets more *** then a toilet set, and is one guy that might look odd with a full set off hair after all this time, he's probably "o.k." with it. I've read about female "journalists" (married ones, at that), running off straight after an interview to have a tryst with him.

God I see you've caught the disease too, infectious isnt it. Just can't go past someone without analysing thier hair/hairline man woman or child lol.
On an offtopic note was the movie worth seeing?

So many women cite vin as a bald sex symbol. But then again so many women think that bald is just a hairstyle that can grow back if they wanted it to. You can tell that is what women think because they are always saying "well you can always grow it back if you don't like it". No we can't always grow it back. I wonder how many of his devoted female followers would loose interest if they knew he was as REAL bald as they come?

YES! its horrible. i find myself staring at everybodys hair. I dont talk about it to anybody in person, but I know everybodys scalp like the back of my own hand.

and No the movie is not worth seeing. totally ridiculously unrealistic - far worse than the others.

Back to Vin's hair. Route 666 suggested head tattoos that look like stubble that last for a couple of years before they fade but it made me think of Vin Diesel. It only costs a couple of hundred dollars. I'm going to look into this because I don't mind buzzing my head once a week if it looks realistic enough. This could be a good temporary solution for me and then I could finally feel the wind and sun on my scalp when I go outside from not having to hide under a hat. Oh man, that would be so great. I wonder what SAF thinks.

I think its a bad idea unless of course you can garantee that from now onwards everyone stays about 8 minimum of feet away from you. Because upclse it will look highly obvious, and as soon as one person spots it thats it. I dont think tatoos fade after a few years but the colours do change sometimes eg black turns blueish. Definatly meet someone who's had it done in the flesh before you commit to anything.

Have you ever thought about having FUE transplants to make a strong hairline (with the rest sparse) and then just keep your hair buzzed down?
