Im currently 2 month in at .5mg and my frontal hair is thin bad..i havent had an increase in daily shedding since starting but my frontal hair is much thinner after 2 months..so my question is has anyone else had this happen and then get thicker frontal hair by years end or at least have it return like it was to begin with?
Also I odnt understand why its thinner yet my shedding is the same..was shedding alot before propecia by the way...I can only assume the shedding now is jst more concentrated in the front

I'm almost at 3.5 months and I've been experiencing thinning up front and in the vertex too. My shedding has also been pretty consistent, even declining some over the past month. My derm is convinced I should see thickening at around month 6... Lets hope he's right.

Only .5mg every two days sounds like a very small dosation. Is it based on side effects or something?

I have been taking propecia for only 12 days now and have experienced a terrible shedd. ( about 300 hairs per day) After a shower today I saw about a 100 hairs on the shower drain alone. I think it's best for me to discontinue the use, I don't believe that many hairs can be recovered. If you have a different opinion please comment, as I am new to this treatment.

12 days probably has nothing to do with the propecia, it hasn't even had time to do its thing yet, at the very earliest it would do something maybe around month 2. I would stick it out man, its the best treatment out there.

I think Trent's observation is correct. Twelve days should not by far be enough time for Propecia to do anything like that.

Thanks for your response trent and pbz, it's just really panicking when I'm seen this much hair loss and only after I started this treatment. I don't know if its me only but I can see a difference on the density that went down.
