Anybody else with a 5A pattern?

Just wondering if anybody else out there has any experience with this pattern? After recently discontinuing finasteride, I just wanted to know a few things about my future. The Bosley consultant said back in January that my final pattern would be a 5A, but since I was seeing more loss on the back part of the top of my scalp, I thought maybe he was mistaken. I went to see a different specialist today and he tested my hair for miniaturization, and he confirmed the 5A pattern. Even though my thinning is mostly in the back part of the top of the scalp, my lower crown area and the normal donor area underneath that are equally thick, as are the patches near the top of the sides. It just kinda threw me that I could be an A pattern since I haven't receded in the traditional front to back progression. My hair has more or less just gotten thinner all over the outline of the pattern, which is kinda shaped like a bell curve.

Basically, I wanted to know a few things for certain. I'm almost positive that 5A never turns into 6 or 7. Is that correct? Also, the Doctor said he, as well as just about any other surgeon I assume, can usually get just about close to if not full NW2 coverage with a transplant even when the final balding pattern is reached, especially since my curly hair offers more scalp coverage than straight hair. If that's the case, there might just be a small $25,000 silver lining to my current misery. I need some kind of hope seeing as how my current outlook of keeping my current DHT susceptible hair follicles in play probably won't last until my 30th birthday.
