I've been losing body hair lately, along with my diffuse thinning.
Could this be telogen efflivium? Or some hormonal imbalance?

Im not on any medication yet. I dont want to take propecia until im SURE its male pattern baldness. Which atm seems unlikely since im losing hair on my body aswell..
What is my next step?
Im getting slightly worried..

Yep, shedding body hair is an indicator that your alopecia isn't androgenetic.
It could be aopecia universalis.
It could be excessive radiation.
Or it could be fleas.

Get off your computer and go see a doctor.
Getting a diagnosis on an internet forum is generally a bad idea.

I would recommend you see a derm cause he would do a variety of tests to find the exact reason behind your condition.
