Well my gf didn't notice I was balding till a few years after we started going out. Who knows whether it would've made a difference if she noticed it before we started dating (I know she won't give me an honest answer if I ask)Follically Challenged said:

It's weird how you bring that up though. My friend from school who's rrreeally pretty just showed me a pic of her bf and he's a nw6 and only 20 yrs old. And I'm not just saying she's pretty b/c she's going out with a fellow baldie. Before I started talking to her I thought she was one of the best looking girls in the whole university. Another lady who I knew back from high school (who looked good back then but now looks like a freakin' model) is engaged to a nw6-7.
Anyways, I can think of a number of balding dudes going out with attractive girls.... it's very inspiring if you ask me.

And I'm not saying she's hot, just that she's not ugly. To me, it takes a really below average girl to be labeled ugly. And just like the previous poster said, how are random message board posters reliable judges of ugliness? Most of us are fat, goofy looking, and balding (and on this board, EVERYONE is balding), yet some of us have the nerve to call good-looking celebrities like beyonce or jennifer aniston (I'm just throwing out random names here) ugly.

And yeah, I just brought up the whole modeling stuff knowing full well that most of them aren't legit. But considering she's been offered numerous times from different "companies", I think it's safe to assume that she's at least average looking (if these modeling agencies want to seem legit, I doubt they'd go after ugly chicks).
btw, I made that initial statement b/c that guy assumed balding dudes could only get ugly chicks... so I'm not here trying to show off that i have a pretty gf. Just saying that it's absurd to think baldies can't get attractive mates
