Any way to reverse NW2 balding?

Hi guys, hope you're doing ok.

So, I've noticed my male pattern baldness progressing lately and I'm pretty much at NW2 on the norwood scale.

I've read in places that you can't go from a NW2 back to a NW1. I've replaced my regular shampoo with nizoral but I'm wondering is there ANYTHING else I can do to reverse the effects and regrow hair at the front?

Besides a hair transplant?
Finasteride and minoxidil. However, it's not common that you get very much regrowth at the hairline temples. You might get SOME but full regrowth, i'm not so sure.

These are examples of people that have on these forums that have regrown to their original hairlines.

These are rare occasions though. Absolute best case you should strive for is maintaining what you have.

Hi JackInBlack,

You'll need to get on Dutasteride or Finasteride for hair maintenance, and use Minoxidil for regrowth. If you're a good responder, you should get hair regrowth at the front.

Norwood 2 isn't balding, it's a mature hairline.
