My hair is receding badly at the sides and the front of my scalp to the middle is thin and really visible when wet is there any treatment that could grow my hair line back?

What age are you? When did you first notice this?
I started noticing it properly about 2 years ago but thought I'll be ok but it's got worse is there any treatment that could reverse it? I'm so self conscious about it I barely go out and if I do I wear a cap

Thanks would it Work? If it works I'll defiantly wife it

Bro honestly, you need that sh*t asap, youre lucky your recession is pretty uniform, if you get on finasteride now and maintain noone would consider you balding, just some recession, which is night and day difference with being bald.

GOOD LUCK, if ANYTHING works, its gonna be finasteride, anything other than that beisdes minoxidil is bullshit and at most helps with the "general health" of your hair, but not with stopping you from actually losing it.

Yes you will need a doctors prescription, do yourself a favor and do some research on Finasteride, which is the drug rebranded as Propecia. propecia is 1mg dose used exclusiely for hair loss and even generics can be quite pricey. If money is an issue for you id research and talk to your Doctor about the 5mg finasteride which then you can cut into 4's or 5ths and take that every day. Also, these drugs can potentially cause side effects so famialiarize yourself witrh them and see if its wroth it for you.

Do i think you can grow back hair? Not really, unless you are in the 10-20% of god-like responders which is definitely possible. What you can expect is general thickening and maintenance of your current hair, if you're super unlucky you might only be able to slow donw the hair loss, only way to know is to try and find out for yourself.

You can expect to maintain and likely increase the QUALITY of your existing hair.

Yeah Its kind of crazy IMO how old propecia is and how much it still costs. Even the generic propecia some 30 years after it came out still costs like 60 a month I mean that is barely any less then when propecia came out. Price gouge much? That is one negative to signing your hair on the dotted line with big pharma. 20 years from now you will still need propecia to maintain that hair. The cost could spike up or down and whatever it is you have to pay it.
A little off topic, but what happens in 10 years when some other amazing new male pattern baldness treatment comes out, and most men flock to that. What if you want to keep on propecia will they keep making it forever? If they stopped the price would sky rocket and you would lose all your hair you kept all those years. Something to think about

I dreaded waking up every morning knowing my hair was gonna just get worse and worse... I was finally be able to get my life back on track by taking finasteride, hairloss is still effecting me but I'm not depressed as sh*t anymore and can enjoy most of my life again. Sometimes I feel as it makes me overall a little more tired but it's a minor exchange for keeping my hair imo. Anyways, if you do experience any sides you can just stop taking the mess and return to normal within 2-4 weeks of cessation of treatment. Good luck brotha and keep us posted in here
