Ok, I have been thinning diffusely for several years and just recently started Propecia.
I also use Loprox and T/Gel shampoos several times a week for seb. dermatitis, because the coal tar shampoos have always been the best for treating my symptoms. In fact I have used T/Gel off and on since freshman year of high school.
I have seen the studies showing how Nizoral and piroctone olamine shampoos can increase the thickness of individual hairs when used 2x week because they decrease scalp sebum, etc. It seems to me that T/Gel and other coal tar shampoos also do this, so could they have a positive effect on hair thickness?
also, could either loprox or t/gel have negative effects on hair growth? I would love to hear from the experts on this board, people here seem so much more informed on up-to-date info than anywhere else on the internet.
