Any real good results with Rogaine in the crown?

Not sure if really I'm starting to thin but I have always had this split in my crown and now it looks like the hair is feeling lighter to the left of it to the side of my head...it's been really bothering me lately and really thinking about starting Rogaine. I'm 37 and just wondering if anyone had real good results with this product and if those results lasted? Thanks, I know once to start this regimen that you have stay on it.

My friends have good result by using it on the crown, and they keep on using it in order to maintain the result, otherwise the hair will fall out again in a few months time if one stop using it.
