Hey there, everybody. My first new thread using the new site; I like it. Anyway, I was just wondering if there were any promising treatments (or even a cure) potentially on the horizon? I'm talking anywhere from next year to the next 10-15 years. Whatever. I'm not in any rush really (how can you be?). Finasteride is working just fine for me; I've almost got all my hair back. But like most people, I don't expect finasteride to last forever. Maybe if I'm lucky genetically it could work out for the next 15 years. But do any of you speculate that we may have a far more reliable treatment option or even a cure by that point?

This could be more speculation-based if you'd like, as none of us have all the answers. But if you've heard of anything in the works, please share. All comments are welcome.

Hair cloning should be here in around 7 to 10 years. There's only a few major problems that need to be worked out.

The only two treatments in my opinion which may be effective in the future is Histogen and Replicel. Other than that, I personally wouldn't count much on anything hair wise.

Yeah, but how expensive do you think that'll be? More than a hair transplant?
It would surely be less labor intensive than a hair transplant but would probably cost much more due to the perceived value of a full head of hair. However, there's no way of knowing for sure how much they'll charge.
