How to make the trimmed/shaved head maintenance less time consuming?

I keep my hairs long and use hair fibers. Or use caps/hats when I can’t be arsed to wear fibers.
f*** shave it bro for another reason as well. You need hairs to keep your head warm or protect it from sun. Even those tumbleweeds you have for hairs help. I have tried the shave it bro look and I hate how cold I feel or how much head burns when I am in sun.
