I got excess mucus that is secreted up in my nasal cavity towards the back. It just builds up on the back top of the flap that separates the nasal cavity and my mouth. I suction it off every 5 minutes or so, which makes a very offensive sound to others. I've had this every since 7th grade, after getting over bronchitis that lasted months. It might also be giving me bad breath.
I tried flownase, but that did not work. I don't want to take a pill that will affect my whole body. I just want a pray that will go up my nose and make the sinuses produce less mucus. I'm tempted to give muconX a try. Anyone know of any inhailers that do this?
What is the class of drug that dries up mucus? Decongestant? or do those just take care of stuffiness? Thanks.
