@Pavi had this issue and solved it and it helped with his hairloss.

Thyroid problems (benign nodules) run in my family too, but my thyroid has so far worked fine according to analyses.

My mother had those issues. When she treated it, her hair grew back in.

Her hair was diffuse all over as a result of thyroid problems.

I'm really curious about this as well. I'll be going in on Monday to get some tests done on my thyroid

I have dpa and the hair transplant surgeon I get my proscar script from told me it is possible a thyroid issue is the cause of my hair loss. He's the one who convinced me to get my thyroid checked, he said he's never seen anyone lose eyebrow hairs like I do from proscar so it very well could be my thyroid causing my hair loss problems.

My family has more of a history of thyroid problems then hair loss, I have only one uncle with hair loss on my mothers side which also has the thyroid problems.

Make sure they test your TSH, free T3 and free T4. What are your symptoms?

I did get my thyroid tested suspecting it to be the cause of hair loss. Results turned out normal, though. Same thing happened to a 3rd cousin of mine, too.
