Any Chance Of Success On minoxidil And Seems-rolling Alone?

I am likely not going to be able to take finasteride due to its potential to aggravate my (thankfully mild) epilepsy. Taking that medication was my one sliver of hope of stopping my temple recession and perhaps even seeing some regrowth.

With that said, considering my hair today (photos below), do you think I would see any success with minoxidil and derma-rolling? If so, should I get the foam? What %? What size needles? I’m seeing a dermatologist in a couple of weeks, but considering the last one I saw was no help, I’m not getting my hopes up.

The area I’m most concerned about are the temples, and the light/translucent hairs along the hairline. I’ve always had them, but they appear to be spreading:

You’re 28, seems like your loss is slow. If you respond to rogain it could add 10 years to your hair. I’d start out with the foam once a day before bed with dermarolling 1.5mm once a week

The thing is that Rogaine rarely works on temples from what i heard. I'm in similar situation as you. Also 28 and only have receded temples. I'm thinking of trying the foam on temples. Liquid can be pain in the ***.
