Hello,

I just wanted to ask if anyone has had any success in regrowing some with rogaine foam where the liquid version failed....... I am 32, Norwood 3 and have been on Nizoral and Propecia for 9 Months as well as liquid minoxidil (regaine and Kirkland) for 8 months but nothing happened at all, no shed, nothing. My hairloss has stabilized but thats propably due to the propecia. The thing I am striving for would be any small regrowth on the temples (get back to Norwood 2.5 or something), so i am switching to the foam because i read it is supposed to be more effective and i really hate that mafiosi look the liquid minoxidil causes.... So is there a chance for succes for the foam in my case ????

I've found the foam to be more effective than the liquid. My GF hates the way the foam smells so i tried using the liquid for a while, didnt really notice that much of a difference. When i switched to the foam + propecia i started getting my hairline back. It could have something to do with the fact that the foam is easier to apply, dries quicker, and doesnt rub off as easily. From my experience if you still have hair in the area you apply the foam, you will see some regrowth. However if the hair around your temples is completely gone you probably will not get that back. The most it will do is prevent you from loosing anymore.

the liquid gave me some results but foam gave me much more,it definitely helped my temples come down a bit and its given me longer and stronger hair on the crown(previously all my crown hair was about 3/4 of an inch long and foam hopefully seems to be reversing the miniaturisation )

Hey Guys,

Thanks for replying..... I`ll propably use foam in the morning and liquid in the evening just to prevent a major shed if the foam is not working....

Cheers again,
