Any Benefit To Finasteride And Saw Palmetto Combined?

ive been on Finastetide for 2 1/2 months with zero sides. Is it safe to combine with saw palmetto? Is it even worthwhile to add?

It is best to just use finasteride on its own. Saw Palmetto is unproven as a treatment for male pattern baldness.
Although saw palmetto does inhibit DHT, I'm fairly sure that it is not able to do so inside the hair follicles as it can't reach the follicles, and so is of little benefit for hair loss.

Yes. Having used saw palmetto I am in the camp that thinks it does have some effect, but personally I think its way too weak to effect male pattern baldness. In short you only need the finasteride, and SP has zero evidence it helps with male pattern baldness. If it SP helped you might need 10X+ the normal dose and then your going to get the same sides anyway assuming of course it even works. We dont know.
