I've tried l-Lysine and l-Cysteine for a while, but have not seen any results. I actually think Lysine made my hair loss worse. I also tried glycine and this thing did not help either.
From my experience, cysteine seemed the best among three that I've tried, but the result was minimal.

I am not trying to find a key that will resolve hair loss. I just want to know if there's any amino acids that can slow down the hair loss (less shedding?).

Here are the list I've found that might work:

arginine
glutathione
glutamine
methionine

If anybody has tried these supplements and had positive results, please share. Thanks a bunch.

Have you tried or are you debating on taking vitamin p? I had a chiropractor say fish oil might help because it reduced inflammation. I have never taken fish oil that regularly and from what I've read online people lose hair because of it. However maybe it's like propecia hair loss to be followed by thicker regrowth?

What I'm basically saying is none of that amino acid stuff would work, and I'm not sure where you got the idea that it would.

If you search on google one of the ones I mentioned above for hair loss, you will see many sites that promote amino acids as holy grail for hair loss. Problem is, most, if not all sites are unreliable.

I've tried fish oil, but I break out from it. I've tried switching to cod liver oil, but that did the same thing as well. I heard some people don't respond well to fish oil and I am one of them unfortunately.
