i tried the liquid and lotion versions of spironolactone. i'm not sure if the lotion absorbs into the scalp as good as the liquid, but it doesnt stink and it isnt greasy, so i'm way happier with the lotion.

the only other concern is that it doesnt last as long, i went thru the lotion twice as fast, which makes it pretty pricey. do any of you guys know another topical dht inhibitors that might be worth a look?

thank for any suggestions.

Avicis is a Galderma product.
i only found a study on the 17 alfa stradiol in the internet.
they lack studies to prove its eficiencia, but, in brazil as been very used here and making success.

You cannot get ahold of Avicis if you live in the States or the UK. HOWEVER, you CAN get a hold of Ell Crannell Alpha which is the same stuff, made by the same company(Galderma), under a different name. I think the vehicle might be slightly different for some reason, who knows.

Either way, you can order it at http://www.lipoxidil.com but it's pretty expensive there, OR you can email chiasso@merlonipharma.ch and order it from them. It is an overseas supplier who charges 55 euro($65) for 2 100 ml boxes(much cheaper than Lipoxidil). You can pay through Paypal or email them your credit card etc. They are a legit company and many people have been using them, however, I would recommend using Paypal to be safe.

Good luck
