You know guys I was thinking...in addition to my idea about attempting to treat males with diffuse thinning the same treatments offered to women for their ludwig scale loss...i thought of that maybe...if there is some biochemical factors that we can borrow from infants. I mean, this idea may not have been proposed because I dont think research on infant humans is exactly ethical...but besides the relatively androgen free environment isn't there something (I mean there has to be!) that transforms hairs in infants from shitty threads into mighty fibres? Maybe it could be extracted and injected into adults?

he doesn't want their hair, he wants the biological process that makes bald babies grow their hair

No, what he's talking about is the actual discovery of the molecule that changes villus hair into terminal hair in children as they progress through their younger years.

You'd have to purify it, analyze the protein structure, find the exact genetic code, clone it, put it into bacteria or yeast (depending upon the structure), and finally mass produce enough of it to allow for enough sample to inject.

The likely cause of the change from vellus to terminal hair on the head shortly after birth is probably the androgen surge that happens during the first few months of life. Once it happens, it seems like the results are maintained until puberty and sustained, high concentrations of androgens begin to promote male pattern baldness.

However, there could be something else that hasn't been discovered. I wouldn't wait for a monumental discovery.

Afterall, it is the androgen surge and maintenance that happens during puberty that changes androgenic hair all over the body from vellus to terminal hair.

LOL...i love how it went from the first being totally off to Doctor being 100% right. Thats exactly what I'm talking about...something biological that can reactivate vellous hairs into terminall...who knows maybe minoxidil works by the same process...I by no ways have the means, finances (maybe the brains) to figure out such a method...but maybe our higher powered think tanks can be put to work on this...
