An Odd Problem That Keeps Confusing Me.

So heres my little problem that keeps playing with my mind:

When my hair is long enough I comb it from left to right. What happends then is that at the front left corner it looks thin/thinning. However, when I get a buzz cut there is no signs at all of male pattern baldness. Some slight recession yes, but nothing more. When the hair is long and I comb it over, specially when its LITTLE oily, it looks like really thin.

Being a diffuse thinner is all about lighting. Trust me , not to get you down but I'm sure in certain lights your baldnesss is still probably visible even with a buzz cut.

Strangely I find dim lighting situations to show my thinning the worst. In bright or dark lights my hair can look very thick. But in dim situations I can see a large thinning patch. I'm a diffuse thinner with longish hair to hide it.

My lil brother with 0 male pattern baldness has the same thing. When his hair is longer it looks thin, specially when he comb it to the side..when he has a buzz cut, as he does now, its 0 signs. We have the natural low density fine hair...but still.
