an honest opinion

Hi,

first post, thought i'd dive straight in.

I shaved my head 3 years ago, long story short, i just want an honest opinion.

i think i have a weird shaped head. i also have a birth mark on the back you can't see. i chickened out and regrew my hair.

if people could let me know what they think, and the state of their hair / head shape (lets face it, its all relative) that would be awesome.

i don't mind negative comments, in fact i'd appreciate a little bit of reality

Absolutely nothing wrong with your head shape. You actually look good with buzzcut.

i guess i just have a problem with this.

i got a few alien head comments from mates and my mum actually welled up when she saw me.

i know i need to shave it, but i just don't think i have the mental strength to do it.

bit pathetic, but i guess its the stigma from having dealt with hairloss for 10 years

grow some cleaner stubble though IMO.

A lot of parents well up when they see their son with a skinhead. Mine welled up the first time she saw me drinking a pint of beer. Something about their little boys growing up :mrgreen:

I wouldn't take fashion advice from your parents. My mother absolutely hates buzzed/shaved heads and makes no effort to hide her disgust. She even told my norwood 6 older brother to stop cutting his hair short, even though he has the hairline of a clown.

You should stick with the buzzcut/shaved head.

yeah man it looks fine. i dont really dig the whole shaved head look but then again ive always loved long hair. but if i looked at you i would only think that thats how you look most natural. doesnt look odd at all.
