Has anyone tried this product?
My cousin told me about it, she knows someone who is using it. I tried to find some information on it, but I haven't found much. It's supposed to thicken the hair, a bit like minoxidil.
Anyway, I found a cheap course of aminexil on ebay. I'm gonna try the initial intensive 6 weeks programme and if it works for me, then I can do the top-up applications later in the year.
It has the advantage (if it works) that it's applied only once a day and the gains last for long time. The recommended application for male pattern baldness is 2 courses a year. So, after 6 weeks of daily applications there is no need to worry about it for the next 6 months.
If you are interested read this link: http://www.hairloss-hair-loss.com/hairloss/aminexil.htm
It is also produced and sold by L'Oreal, I think a big company wouldn't put their name on a product that is completely useless.
PS: I think "growth stimulants" is the right category for this product? Or experimental treatments?
