in fact, i don't understand why a copper peptide, like AC, is not suggested as part of "the big 4." if it were, i would have started using it a lot sooner.

irritation is considered an important factor in hairloss. and copper peptides are probably the best way to address irritation.

So, the AC revitalize line is good for reducing the irritation from other topicals?

On it's own, it's nothing?

That's what I'm understanding. Someone please correct me.

I don't use topicals and I find AC to be a great benefit to my regimine.

I never had serious irritation problems, just a slight tingle here and there that I could fix by rubbing or patting my head (i try not to scratch). however, after using ac for a week, my scalp is completely itch/irritation free. nothing whatsoever, which is awesome. if you are experiencing male pattern baldness, you need to make sure you stop irritation in its tracks. i wish i had started it sooner.

It's a topical and/or a shampoo. Copper Peptides have been studied-- and yes, they have hair regrowth potential... probably about as much as standard minoxidil. It's real benefits are dealing with the immune system up top and helping to keep the healthiest environment possible.

Strongly recommended if using minxodil.

copper peptides help reduce irritation, and many people suffer from increased irritation caused by other topicals, such as minoxidil, spironolactone, etc. I don't really categorize copper peptides with that group because its so unlike other "hair medicines." For instance, I use it to reduce scalp irritation, not to regrow hair. There are no sides. You're not strapped to a rigid application schedule, like you are with other topicals. And You don't need a prescription. In fact, it's so easy and harmless to use, i recommend everyone give it a shot.

But yes, if you want to be technical, ac is a "topical" because you apply it to your scalp rather than ingesting it. But if you want to be technical, I use several other topicals as well . . . shampoo, conditioner, and hair gel. Neither of these are regrowth medicines, but like copper peptides they help foster a healthy scalp environment.

i recommend a copper peptide, even if you don't use other topicals. it's great for your scalp and hair. also, i find ac has a slight hold, so a few spritzes in the morning not only boosts my scalp health for the day, but it replaces the need for any hair product.

did we ever decide if AC was better than, or just as good, as tricomin? (or was that a different thread altoether?)
