Well, I only take hair vitamins and use 2%minoxidil 1 time per day(before bed) and I do use nizoral. I have been on this for a little over a year...I decided to try a new shampoo that I overheard african american girls use to regrow their hair. I am not african american but I thought to myself why not try it. I went online (walgreens) and looked at the content of this shampoo called DOO GRO (Moisturizing Growth Shampoo) and it is all vitamins and herbs so I said what the f*** cant hurt my situation. I have been using for about 6 weeks... The first 2 weeks I alternated with nizoral but after that I use DOO GRO everyday and wow my thin crown is getting many little hairs so I am getting more excited everyday...
BTW this is no promotion, the shampoo is less than $5 for 8 oz ($4 I think)..Guys try it, it cant hurt.

Keep using Nizoral every 3rd day.

And hair growth regrowth does not happen fast. Any results are probably not a result of Doo Gro, I hate to say, but stick to it if you think it helps.

It's possible that the shampoo is giving your hair some extra thicknes and volume, if it's only $4 a bottle it can't hurt

Good to hear you're seeing results from the minoxidil / Nizoral combo! :)

All joking aside... many things can stimulate short term hair growth, so its possible something in the poo is having an effect. The factor that separates the "men" from the "boys" with hair loss treatments, are those that last longer than 1 year. Short term growth stimulation can be attained by anything from Niacin (this is why people think Nioxin works) to *anything* that will agitate the follicle a little bit.

It's been shown that artificial agitation of the follicle will kickstart activity, but only for a short time. Who knows, maybe you'll be able to kickstart some new growth with the poo and the minoxidil will keep those hairs growing :) Anything's possible when we have no data to look to.
