Am I too late or is there still hope?

I will attach pictures, think one is a little blurry though. My whole life hair loss never crossed my mind and then 2 months ago I noticed what looked like receding at the temple's. I freaked out and it caused me massive anxiety and I've become rather depressed as well.

I also had a very messy break up with a girlfriend (which has destroyed my confidence) and had some problems with my knees and and at work. All this has made me INCREDIBLY stressed which I'm sure hasn't helped. I'm shedding like mad (though strangely not on my pillow)

I got on 5% Minoxidil and 1% Keto shampoo not long after I realised but it's just receding faster and faster (Been using them for a month now so possible minoxidil shed) and I'm horrified. Also found a tiny patch at the back of my head which has made me feel even worse. I've always had super long hair so I'm able to cover this to a degree for now but I've a very egg shaped head (which kids teased me for as a kid) so shaving simply isn't an option.

I also take a Biotin and Zinc supplement and am soon to start on Viviscal. I did look at Proscar, Propecia, Finasteride, Saw Palmetto, Beta Sitasterol but the side effects scare me. I'm starting to think I have no choice, I'm only 22 and have always been considered very confident and attractive and all that has gone.

I live in the UK so what are my best and cheapest options for regrowth and maintaining some hair?

Your hair is thick, you're not too late to keep what you have. You may be too late to regrow your temples unless the loss was in the last year or two. But a hair transplant could sort that out quite nicely.

Despite the thickness it's going fast. It's all happened in the last year or so really so could I still regrow at temples?

Also you say a hair transplant but surely if I get a transplant at my temples the hair will continue to recede around the transplant anyway?

What is best cheapest option for finasteride/Propecia etc in England? I'm going to book a Doctors appointment tomorrow asap.

Cheapest legitimate place I can find it? £16 per month plus postage. I'm going to try and get a prescription tomorrow, what if the doctor says no though? Pretty sure I can still order it from here any way..

Where did you find £12 a month?

Go to another one, or just order it online, no other option left. Don't let him persuade you to not get on treatments if you want to maintain your hair. Once it is damaged thinned and weak it will stay like that even if you would get on treatments later on.

Ok well I will try and get a prescription but it looks here that I may be able to order this stuff without one.

I don't wanna lose any more hair, my confidence can't take it but even I regrow a little bit and manage to fill the big gap in my fringe I'll be happy! I know it takes a while but the sooner I stop the shedding the better!

There's no way to tell who will and won't get side effects though is there?

No true, you won't know until you try it. In my case nothing happened, or well, my acne cleared up in two weeks. Well, I can live with that :) .
