Am I thinning?

Hello,

I am posting here because I am worried that I may be losing hair on the crown of my head. I am 22 years old. I did 6 weeks of testosterone enanthate at 500mg/week for 6 weeks before deciding to stop for bodybuilding purposes. I don't believe that there is balding in my family, my father has a receeded hairline and is thin but he is 59 years old, my older brother who is 26 has no hair loss at all but has never used steroids.

I never tried to see if I was losing any hair before this cycle started, I just never really thought about it. I got nizoral shampoo 2% and use it daily. I have been off of the testosterone for a week now, I believe it stays in the system for 2 weeks. I will then do my PCT. How long should it take for DHT levels to normalize?

When I shower I might get something like 10 hairs on both of my hands combined. Then I dry my hair, put pomade in my hair and maybe get another five in my hands then. Sometimes during the day I will also test to see if I am losing any hair by running my hands through my hair or doing a pull test, I will get a couple of hairs SOMETIMES.

My questions is, do you think my hair is thinning? I have a low hair line as I will post, put I believe that the hair is coming from the top of my head, mainly my crown.

I have a Doctor's appointment tomorrow to see what he says, my friends say it doesn't look like it is thinning, I may be paranoid but I do not wish to lose my hair at 22 years old. Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks!

You likely not have Androgenetic Alopecia. The loss is certainly due to artificial hormones you were pumping. Keep us posted on anything getting any worse or even improving. Do NOT start any treatment (yet). (You should not have jumped on nizoral bandwagon)

I have since stopped the hormones. I do not plan on starting any treatment, I have some 2% nizoral that I have been using quite sometime before ever starting any gear. I was using everyday and it made my hair brittle so that may have contributed to some shedding? I will now use nizoral twice a week.
