Am I Showing Signs Of Male Pattern Baldness? (19 Years Old)

Hello everyone. I'm 19 right now and been growing my hair for a year. And I've been losing like between 15-25 hairs in the shower and that's what made me concerned at first. When my hair was short, I was using hair wax everyday, sometimes sleeping with wax on my hair at night and I think I lost lots of hair at that time. Now I don't use any styling products but my hair in left&right sides in the front (but left side more) is thinner and feels much more sensitive than the rest. Also same with my scalp around that area, it feels sensitive as well. I can see my scalp through my hair sometimes. I added a few photos. The first one is when my hair was wet. Do you think I'm showing signs for male pattern baldness?

Thanks for the reply. Really? I've seen a dermatologist and she said I had early signs, but I got a bad feeling about her when she suggested me like 3-4 products of the same dermo-cosmetic brand and nothing else lol. Another dermatologist said it might be due to stress. So I've been obsessed with my hair loss for a while and trying to figure out the reason to decide if I should start to minoxidil and/or finasteride.

I see none at all, but thats only in the pictures you've posted. Does your hair feel thinner and/or is your hairline receding?

Your hairline and temples are receding. On sides you have very weak hair too.

It could be the continuous stress put on your follicles by having a man bun, I know a few friends who have nw0 great density hair and when they tried man bun, they said they were losing too many hairs so they stopped, and their hair recovered

Yes, Traction Alopecia is quite possible. For example, this 22 y. o. girl lost much of her hair due to wearing tight buns. Her pattern of hair loss looked like Norwood 3 and she got a hair transplant.

Yes that's possible. When my hair was shorter, I had to make a tighter bun. Now, I try to make it loose and make sure it's not pulling my hair. But it's for sure that my front hair is much thinner than the rest. The rest just feels strong enough, but my frontal hairs feels like something really fragile I should care of. For example, if it tangles on my fingers, it'll just break off my scalp. I guess I need some more time to figure out if it's really male pattern baldness maybe.

Just keep a close eye on your hair over the next few weeks or months, and be on the look-out for any signs of male pattern baldness. It doesn't look like you have male pattern baldness from those photos though, but if you think your hair at the front feels thinner than the rest then maybe it could be the beginnings of it. What's your family history like? Did your dad start losing his hair around your age?

My dad had quite a bit hair when he was young, he started losing it in 35 I guess. And he lost most of it in his 50s, now he is bald. He has diabetes and lives a very unhealthy life though (he's an addict). From mom's side, grandpa had a really good amount of hair in his 80. Grandpa had really good genes lol.
