Am I showing any signs of early male pattern baldness

I recently just turned 20, and have been overly freaked out about going bald. I suffer from ocd which may be a reason I am so paranoid. Everyone I ask tells me my hair is no different than it has ever been but i still want to get an opinion from people on here. My dad and his dad started thinning late 20's and my maternal uncle and grandfather have all there hair. I seem to take alot more to my mothers genes and have very similar hair to my unlce and maternal grandfather. My father always had very thin hair to begin with, which i do not have. So basically i want to know if it looks like i have anything to worry about. My hair still grows very fast ( have to get it cut every 3 weeks) and is fairly coarse. Id just like to get an opinion because i have been absolutely obsessed and worried about this for a while, and would like to know what to watch for if there is anything to watch for. Is my cowlick swirl too big/ thin?

Your hair is absolutely fine, better than the average male of your age. That spot on the crown is more than likely your natural part. If you are worried take another photo of your hairline and crown in a years time in natural light conditions to compare, and dont take photos obsessively as its bizarre and you will just convince yourself to believe whatever you want to that day depending on what kind of mood you are in.

No one can say you wont lose hair in the future, but your hair right now is 100% absolutely great so go and enjoy it and chill out man, your one of the lucky ones

I dont really have any old pictures but i do know ive always had that swirl and i dont think it has gotten any bigger. But Im absolutely worried sick about this and literally spend hours checking my hair a day. Waking up tomorrow with not a single hair on my head wouldnt be as bad as the worrying and anxiety im going through right now. I do suffer from OCD which i guess i could blame. This thought hasnt left my head for more than 20 mintes in the last 2 months and I have no clue what to do about it and how to get on with my life.

I got overly paranoid about my crown when i plucked one or 2 hairs and they seemed to be the slightest bit thinner than the rest, but every other hair ive ever seen come off of my head and crown looks to be the same thickness.

And lets say worse comes to worse and my hair is thinning, with treatments such as finasteride would i be able to keep a decent amount of hair for a while? I mean i dont wanna be like a NW4 by the time im 25-30. It seems I have more hair than most people do right now so would it be rare to go from what I have now to like a NW3 or 4 in 5 years if i did get treated?

Whoa slow down dude!! You would have to have your hair virtually drop out at once for you to be bald by 25. Its all well and good wanting to protect yourself from losing your hair but it would be insanity to even be thinking about meds while you have all this hair. What would you say if you videod yourself and had to look back at your actions as you look at your hair obsessively, then took photos, then went on hairloss forums like a nervous wreck. You would think what is he doing! Cant you see, all the time you obsess over the tiny tiny details of your head, the bigger issues in life are passing you by.

Seriously, your ocd is a far bigger problem than your hair. With your hair you have no problems, with your perfection anxiety you have bigger issues, those need addressing, your hair needs enjoying.
