Am I receding or is it just paranoia?

the hair on the left side of my head have always seemed to be thinner that on my right side. It has been like that for as long as i can remember. I've always thought it was just because my hair naturally seemed to fall and face to the right side. No one in my family is bald either on my dads or moms side. I'd like to get some opinions here.
