First time posting here, hope you can give me some advice!
A couple of months ago I was looking at my hair in the mirror and thought I could see too much scalp both on the back of my head and at the front. I am pretty sure my hairline has receded a bit - and my roomate offhandedly mentioned that he thought my hairline looked like it was receeding... but I'd like a second opinion, which I hope you can all provide.
I've attached some photos of my hair whorl at the back of my head and my hairline. Note that there are pictures of my hair when I had it longer (and no beard) from about 2 weeks ago and then more recent ones when I cut it short and started growing a beard. Unfortunately I don't have any earlier ones. There is quite a bit of light so it might be making it look worse than it is...or not. I don't know.
I've started to use Minoxidil for about 2 weeks on my hair whorl, hairline and on the beard, but unsure if I should also take the leap and use anything further. If I need to use finasteride as well I will - I haven't seen any specialist about it yet. Ultimately I just really want to nip this in the bud before it's too late.
A couple of other details: I am 25, no one on my mums side is bald (well at least my grandfather and her brother isn't). My uncle on my dads side is but that's it.
