It really depends on if your hair was always like that or you lost some to get that which you probably know better than us. It certainly doesnt look bad so I mean you have plenty of time unless it speeds up. Just take pictures in 6 months or a year and see if it got any worse. If it did go see a professional to figure out what to do

Hi, thanks for the response, I am certainly going to keep an eye on the situation as its better to act sooner rather than later i guess. Here are two older pictures to help with an assessment of my hairloss

I'm tempted to say no. The hairline looks weird in the first picture, but no.
Come back in two years if it gets worse, but it won't.

Doesn't look like it. Some info on your family's balding history could be helpful. :p

Wish i could don't know granddad on either side of family, guess am just going to have to wait it out and hope for the best.

Thanks for the reply's people, really appreciated

It isn't just your grandfather. How prominent is balding in any of the men in your family tree?

Also, I don't think you're balding. Natural a large percentage of men recess at the temples, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're going ball ASAP. Look at Jon Hamm from Mad Men, his temples are recessing but the guy is 40 already. Slowly, over time, it is natural. Now if in 6 months you notice some drastic change then come back.
