I'm 20

Past three years I've been thinning weirdly

I am thinning almost in a female pattern

My front middle of the scalp has thinned considerably as well as my crown

The sides of my head (not the back) have also thinned considerably

My hairline is perfect however, no recession in the classical male pattern baldness pattern

I keep getting confused as to whether my problem is gene related male pattern baldness or is it something I'm doing

Also, I have two brothers. One has thick hair like you won't believe (he's 19) and the other is thinning like me (he's 17). The only thing I have in common with that brother is we're both overweight, have high cholesterol, and eat heartily. We're also smarter lol

Here are some pictures. My hair is slightly oiled so that the thinning appears clearer.

If you're brother is thinning too, it's genetic.

The pictures don't work, but don't oil your hair to make it more apparent. Wet or with oil/gel, anyone's hair can look thin. They force the hair to clump together.
