Usually when I see these threads I think, if you have to ask then the answer is most likely no. When I started balding I knew exactly what was going on. I didn't think it was a mature hairline or something like that. To answer you question, I would say yes, temples look to be thinning pretty bad.
I don't know baldness is a strange beast that can act any mysterious ways, as silly it may sound.
People do develop mature hairlines, it may not be very common but it happens.
People can suffer from hair loss for years and years.
My dad starting loosing his hair in his 20's, he's now like a nw6 and is in his 50's
Worst kind of hair loss....gradual hair loss....so he had to live with being a nw3-5 for a good 20 years.
****ing terrible
I can't even remember my dad with anything more than a NW4, I have to look at a pictures
Some people can be at NW1 their entire life, up untill their 30's and turn into a complete NW7 almost instantly.
I think we've all read of extreme cases of baldness...
Not to give false hope to anyone who is balding, this probably is your usual case of balding. Either aggressive or slow balding.
Btw I'm 19 and became a nw2 practically over night...my sides have only recessed sightly during his year, slowly turning me into a typical NW2 case.
I'm not sure how bad it's going to get...I expect the worst....
