Am I going bald?

I'm 17 and my hair looks like this. My dad is losing a lot of hair at the moment and he's 47. My mom has great hair that never sheds or shows any sign of baldness.

My scalp is constantly itching and my hair loves to split in the middle. My hairline isn't receding, it's just this top bit.

Any advice would be welcome as this is stressing me out

Hair doesn't bald in the split for men like in woman (google Norwood Hamilton scale vs Ludwig scale)

It could be a simple telogen efflivium, you should go to a Trichologist so he can scan your hair with a camera and assess if there is any minituarization or not, these photos with no receeded hairline is impossible to know if there's anything wrong.

You are still growing so you can't go on DHT medication until older so your only choice would be minoxidil until older (if there's any problem at all)
