Am I Doing Everything Right??? Help Needed

Hi guys, probably should of asked this question a couple months ago. But i may as well clear the air now. So i started minoxidil around 6 months ago, morning and night every day. I just wanted to clear the air to make sure im doing everything right. So before application i have usually washed my hair 10 minutes (wash my hair pretty much every morning and night) prior to putting it on, after application i tend to wait around 5 minutes before applying a little bit of dry shampoo with hint of brown (gives my hair a little thicker feeling) topped of with some toppik to fill in the gaps.

as the day to day shampoo, can anyone reccomend another shampoo maybe something a little more natural?
